In Your Pocket Books are a publishing company that produce guides to key cities. The guides are designed to be carried 'in your pocket' and are therefore easy to use and carry with you when exploring a city.
As the name suggests, the new logo cried out to be placed in a pocket. The challenge with this idea was to create a pocket that didn't distract from the logo and company name itself.
Our solution used negative space to create the illusion of the logo being sat in a pocket. Using shadows, this illusion was simple and effective, allowing the eye to focus on the company name.
