Why we’re not sending our clients Christmas presents this year
AUTHOR: Tom Perkins
Ever since I started Evolve (or Custom Studio in it's previous form) 12 years ago, I've sent clients a gift every Christmas. This usually consisted of some tasty chocolates, wrapped in our brand colours and delivered with a smile to say thanks for the client's business over the past year. But this year I've decided to do something a little different. Let me explain.

Let's be honest, none of us really need another box of chocolates or biscuits. We're all running successful companies and making money. There are people out there in far more need than we are so it makes perfect sense to give them a Christmas present instead. Rest assured though, we are very grateful to all our clients for choosing Evolve to help with their websites and online marketing.
It was my wife's (Faye) idea: She suggested that rather than sending another box of chocolates to clients, why don't we simply donate the money we would have spent to a charity close to our hearts. She also suggested asking clients to vote on which charity they'd like us to donate to. It was such a good idea I'm stealing it and putting it into practise here. Thanks Faye!
So here's how it's going to work: I've selected three charities that are all great causes and close to my heart for a number of reasons. You can find a survey below, please vote on which you feel we should donate to. The one with the most votes by 30th November 2019 will receive our donation. Simples.
Charity #1: Hampshire Air Ambulance
Anyone that knows me knows how much I love my fast cars and motorbikes. I also have lots of friends that do too, not to mention the fact that most of us drive a car every single day. Should anything ever happen and we need hospital treatment quickly, the best way to get there is by air ambulance. Find out more here.
Charity #2: Parkinsons UK
My Grandad suffered with Parkinsons, along with a close family friend, and it's a cruel disease with no current cure. Parkinsons UK does great work trying to find a cure, along with providing support for those suffering, or those close to them. Find out more here.
Charity #3: Macmillan Cancer Support
My Dad, Aunt, Mother-in-law and close friend have all been affected, and beaten, Cancer. I'm sure we all know someone who's been affected. It's a cruel disease that affects so many of us. Macmillan Cancer Support does great work in supporting those with Cancer, whether that's through information, advice or just emotional support. Find out more here.
