Announcing the new Evolve website dashboard
AUTHOR: Tom Perkins
If you are a car driver you will always have an eye out for any unusual activity on your dashboard – after all, you need to know how well your car is performing and whether it’s about to run out of fuel or oil. As soon as any warning lights come on, you would also do something about it to make sure your car stays running at its optimum and to ensure it is both safe and roadworthy before you drive it. The same should be true for your website.

Make sure your website is performing well
At Evolve we already install Google Analytics for free on all the websites we create but Google Analytics can be hugely complex and rather daunting for some of our clients to handle.
So we decided it would be more helpful to pull out all of the key information that a business would need to see, and display it all within one easy to read dashboard – that way you can see how your website is performing at a glance.
Custom website dashboard for at-a-glance information
All Evolve websites now include a custom website dashboard created free of charge which is available online so you can simply bookmark it and check your website's performance whenever you choose to.
We know there are some key statistics which every business needs to know when it comes to their website, which might not be immediately obvious when looking into Google Analytics.
That’s why we have included the following as standard on our new dashboard:
- How many people have visited your website
- How long people spend on your website and how many pages they visit on average
- How many people are reading your blog posts
- How many leads your website is generating
- Where your leads are coming from (i.e. search engines, social media, referrals)
We can of course customise the dashboard if there are other areas you would like to monitor within the website which is not included on this standard list – after all we want to make it as easy as possible for you monitor the things that matter to you.
Conclusion
The performance of your company's website matters to your business and now there is a simple way to make sure it’s performing as you need it to. The new Evolve website dashboard makes it really easy to see your key website statistics quickly and simply. We’ll be rolling out this new feature for all Evolve clients over the coming months and will let you know when yours is ready.
